You can be a complete and utter dickhead and you know it, but you think it's funny and the thing is that your friends are exactly the same and you make each other do the stupidest of things regardless of the consequences. Now, you are also blessed with good looks and with that a charming persona, and you know it, and you are certain you could get any girl you want. One day your friends take you up on that and dare you to get a girl to fall head over heels in love with you in exactly ten days. Now, you, being confident and cocky, are more than sure that you can do it. But when your friend's choose a girl for you- it turns out that they have chosen a girl that is very, very different from you and you can automatically tell that she would be difficult to obtain. Even though you're not really each other's 'type', you take the challenge, but when you start to get to know her, when you hear her story and see beyond her shell you do what you never expected would happen - You fall FOR HER. But when she finds out it's all been a bet, what will you do?
You're young, female, and you live in New York, which is a pretty expensive place to live so you share it with this girl who happens to be very close to you, you have known each other for years, since you moved to the city when you were six, you know everything about each other, all your darkest and lightest secrets but the only thing that is wrong is that you are deeply in love with her but she is straight and know she is a player, she brings a different boy home every night. Each day you try to brave it and tell her, but you are to shy, will she ever know your feelings?
You're both completely different personalities; you're a typical laid back man. You have a past, a very deep past and you drink, a lot, usually to make up for this. You're sarcastic, cynical, mocking but deep down you're a good guy. Then there's your room mate, the complete opposite; she's cute, prim and proper, has her head in the clouds from time to time and always sees the beautiful side in things, she dresses flamboyant and in your opinion she talks far too much. You are both completely different, you drive her crazy with your lack of ambition, drunken ways and the way you take the piss out of her all the time, and she drives you crazy with the way she talks all the time, sees the beauty in everything and tries to do the same with you. But there's something ... odd between you, you are a good team. Do opposites attract? Will it flourish into something else?
You're his best friend, and that sheer fact hurts you the most because that's not good enough for you, you want to be more than that and there has always been that little air of mystery around that one day, that might just happen. However, a girl comes into his life; she is beautiful, she is flawless and there is nothing wrong that you can point out about her and before you could even look over in his direction, you saw that look in his eyes and immediately and your heart sank; before you could admit you loved him, he fell for someone else, he was lost to her. A few months later, and she broke up with him, but he is still completely hooked on her but there you were, by his side trying to pick him back up from it. Another month has passed, and you're with him nearly every day, trying to cheer him up, hoping that one day he will see that you are the only one by his side but through all this you can't help but wonder if he thinks of her when you're with him, if he wishes you were more like her? You act your loud and bubbly self, playing the clown to cheer him up but all of that just hides your extreme insecurities. He can't see that you're the only one who has been through his side through everything, you're the only one watching him cry and you don't know if he can see that. Here you are, just picking up the pieces she left behind, but slowly you don't know whether you can do it anymore, will you finally tell him everything? or will he open his eyes and realise exactly what's in front of him before it's too late and you decide that it just hurts too much to be second best and leave?

He stopped caring for you really, he would drink and then do things to you that are too hurtful for you to even bring up. You can't get away from him though because he threatens to hurt you and your family and he doesn't even let you visit them. One evening you're out because your boyfriend was to meet some friends when this guy approaches you and calls you beautiful. This is the first time you can remember ever being called beautiful, and you can't help but blush and smile. Well this sets your boyfriend off. He grabs you by the arm and drags you out of the resturant. You hope that he'd wait to get home before he'd hurt you, but no he pulls you into an alleyway where he starts screaming at you about being a slvt, and how you're his not some tramp that can flirt with any guy she wants. Then he hits you. Usually when he hits you, it's one punch and he's done but not tonight. His face is red, boiling in anger and he keeps hitting you. Over and over and over. You scream and cry, but he shows no mercy. It's so bad you can barely see anything because it's so bloody. Well suddenly you hear a shout and the punches stop, you wipe your eyes of the blood to see a guy beating the stuffing out of your boyfriend telling him that he should never treat a lady in such a manner. When your boyfriend finally stumbles away screaming that he can have you that you're just an easy lay anyways the guy comes over and helps you up, wiping the tears and blood from your face. You break down in his arms, thanking him over and over for what he did. He tells you in was really nothing, but to you it's everything. He helps you up and suggests you come with him and he can get you help. One night after a few drinks you get in a cab and start driving around soon you realize you don't have enough money for the cab fare. The guy is about to throw you out when someone stops him. In slides a girl. She reminds you a lot of those girls you knew in high school. Wait let me rephrase that. She's the kind of girl you crushed on in high school. Flawless hair, perfect skin, cute little body, cheerleader. But she always had that meat headed boyfriend football player. You on the other hand was kind of a loser. You had your music and nothing else. She lives by you so she'll pay the tab, you two start talking and you find her being the kind of girl you really like. Well some things happen and let's just say you made the wrong move. Instead of wooing her and getting her number, you end up having a drunken hook up. Not what you wanted. You did the wrong thing with the right girl. Well that was almost a year ago. You've yet to forget the dream, you have plenty of girls waiting for you, but you get disappointed knowing it won't be her this time. Well then one day you're out and you see your dream girl. Like really her. You approach her, and she remembers you a bit. She tells you she just got back from LA and she's getting married in a week. Yeah you're crushed, she invites you to the wedding and you end up going. Well as you're sitting the pew looking depressed a murmur runs through the crowd. The lady next to you says that the groom wasn't showing. Maybe God does give second chances. So here we go loverboy, her fiance just broke, no that's an understatement he annihilated her heart, she's feeling bad about herself, vulnerable, and just down right horrible. She needs a prince charming to sweep her off her feet, you might not be any prince charming but you could sure sweep her off her feet if you tried hard enough. Here's your chance, you screw this up you won't get another.
